Vic Mensa is a Chicago-born rapper, actor and entrepreneur who has spent more than a decade building a career that reaches well beyond music. He first broke through in 2013 with his acclaimed mixtape Innanetape, before releasing the studio albums The Autobiography (2017) and Victor (2023). In 2025 he struck out on his own with sundiata, his first fully independent release.
His talents stretch across screen and enterprise, too. He has taken on acting roles in the television dramas The Chi and Bel-Air, and founded 93 Boyz, Illinois' first Black-owned cannabis brand. His Orange Tree Series, a run of candid social-media conversations, earned him a Webby Award and a devoted online following. Known for pairing sharp lyricism with a fearless social conscience, Mensa brings real energy and purpose to the stage, making his live shows a genuine draw for anyone who loves thoughtful, boundary-pushing hip-hop.
