Theory of a Deadman is a Canadian rock band formed in North Delta, British Columbia, in 2001.
Known for their gritty blend of post-grunge, hard rock, and alternative metal, the band rose to prominence with emotionally charged lyrics, heavy guitar riffs, and radio-friendly hooks. Fronted by vocalist and guitarist Tyler Connolly, the group gained early attention after being signed to Roadrunner Records with support from Chad Kroeger of Nickelback.
The band achieved mainstream success with hit songs such as “Bad Girlfriend,” “Rx (Medicate),” “Lowlife,” and “Santa Monica,” earning a loyal fan base through their mix of hard-hitting rock anthems and introspective ballads.
