The RAH Band is the project of acclaimed British composer, producer and arranger Richard Anthony Hewson, known for its distinctive blend of jazz-funk, cosmic disco and synth-pop. Hewson’s career spans decades at the highest level of the music industry, having worked with artists including The Beatles, Diana Ross, Carly Simon, Supertramp, Cliff Richard and Herbie Hancock. Through The RAH Band, he developed a unique electronic sound that fused groove-driven funk with imaginative studio production.
The project first gained widespread attention with the UK Top 10 hit “The Crunch” (1977), followed by the internationally loved single “Clouds Across the Moon” (1985). The band’s catalogue also includes the cult favourite “Messages From The Stars”, a track that has introduced their music to a new generation of listeners.
