The Jesus and Mary Chain and The Psychedelic Furs join forces for a co-headline UK tour, bringing together two defining bands from the post-punk and alternative rock worlds.

Formed in 1977, The Psychedelic Furs broke through with their distinctive blend of post-punk, art rock and pop, with landmark album Talk Talk Talk (1981) and enduring single "Pretty in Pink" establishing them as one of the era's most distinctive bands. Led by Richard Butler, they continued to evolve through the 1980s before reuniting in the 2000s, with their most recent album Made Of Rain arriving in 2020.

The Jesus and Mary Chain emerged from East Kilbride in 1983, with brothers Jim and William Reid forging a sound built on feedback, distortion and melody. Their influential debut Psychocandy (1985) introduced "Just Like Honey" and became a landmark release for alternative music, while later albums including Darklands (1987) and Automatic (1989) cemented their place in the genre. After reuniting in 2007, the band have continued to tour and record, most recently releasing Glasgow Eyes (2024), which reached the UK Top 10.

Now, the two bands share the stage for a run of UK dates. Expect two generations of alternative rock, from the Psychedelic Furs' sharp post-punk songwriting to the Jesus and Mary Chain's collision of noise, feedback and melody.
