Formed in Sydney in 2013, The Dead Daisies are a hard rock collective with a revolving cast of seriously talented musicians. Over the years the line-up has featured the likes of Doug Aldrich, Glenn Hughes, John Corabi, Marco Mendoza and Tommy Clufetos, and in 2026 former Foreigner frontman Kelly Hansen stepped up to the mic, reuniting with his old Hurricane bandmate Aldrich. Their sound harks back to the golden age of '70s rock, all bluesy riffs, big choruses and plenty of swagger.
Records such as Revolución (2015), partly recorded in Havana during a cultural visit to Cuba, Make Some Noise (2016) and the UK Top 30 album Burn It Down (2018) gave fans favourites like "Long Way To Go" and "Dead And Gone". More recently, Light 'Em Up (2024) was cut in Nashville and Muscle Shoals, with late-night jams there sparking the blues covers album Lookin' For Trouble (2025). On stage is where they really come alive. They've toured Europe with KISS, shared bills with Aerosmith, Def Leppard and ZZ Top, and played Download and Graspop, while 2017 brought a special Concert For Freedom at Poland's Woodstock Festival alongside a 60-piece orchestra.
