Suicide Silence are an American deathcore band from Riverside, California, formed in 2002. Known for their relentless blast beats, ferocious vocals and uncompromising sound, the band have become one of the defining names in modern deathcore.
Combining elements of death metal, hardcore and extreme metal, Suicide Silence built their reputation through an intense sonic assault and an unmistakable approach to songwriting. Their breakthrough album, The Cleansing (2007), helped establish them as a major force in the deathcore scene, followed by acclaimed releases including No Time to Bleed (2009) and The Black Crown (2011).
