Sufi Sessions is an intentional listening experience created by touring DJ, producer and curator Omar ؏, also known as Omar Makes Music. Drawing on sounds from Africa, Asia, Europe, the Americas and beyond, the night blends soulful afrobeats, amapiano, 3-step and future R&B with lush instrumentation, deep percussion and spiritual vocals, all curated to move both body and mind.
Rooted in the heart of Sufi philosophy, the event centres on love, remembrance and presence, encouraging audiences to connect with themselves, with each other and with something greater. Rather than a typical club night, Sufi Sessions is a shared, heart-led journey, with Omar guiding the room through hours of uninterrupted, genre-spanning sound.
