Ruby Fields is an Australian indie rock singer-songwriter from New South Wales, celebrated for her candid lyricism, infectious guitar-driven sound and unmistakable storytelling. She first emerged in 2017 with her debut single “I Want”, quickly building a devoted following before breaking through with fan favourite “Dinosaurs”, which introduced her honest, self-aware songwriting to a wider audience.
Since then, Fields has established herself as one of Australia's leading indie artists, releasing the ARIA chart-topping debut album Been Doin' It For A Bit (2021) and following it with Small Achievements (2025). Known for energetic live performances and warm, witty stage presence, she has toured extensively across Australia, appeared at major festivals including Splendour in the Grass and Laneway Festival, and performed internationally in the UK.
Whether delivering punchy indie rock anthems or more reflective moments, Ruby Fields continues to connect with audiences through songs that balance humour, vulnerability and everyday life with effortless authenticity.
