Born Enrique Martín Morales on December 24, 1971, in San Juan, he discovered his passion for performing at a young age. He first gained fame in the 1980s as a member of the successful boy band Menudo, where his talent and stage presence quickly made him a standout performer.
After leaving Menudo, Martin launched a solo career that would eventually make him an international superstar. Martin rose to international fame with hits like "Livin' la Vida Loca", "She Bangs", and "Maria", helping bring Latin music into the global mainstream. His energetic performances, charismatic stage presence, and blend of pop, dance, and Latin rhythms earned him multiple awards, including Grammys and Latin Grammys.
