Psychedelic Porn Crumpets are a four-piece from Perth whose unrestrained fusion of fuzz, melody and mind-bending rhythm has made them one of Australia’s most exciting rock exports. Emerging from the same fertile scene that produced Tame Impala and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, they’ve carved out their own universe — a whirlwind of heavy riffs, kaleidoscopic textures and a wild, playful spirit. Their music feels like organised chaos: loud, layered and gloriously unpredictable, driven by a love of experimentation and a refusal to sit still.
Since forming in 2014, they’ve released a string of acclaimed records including High Visceral (Part One) (2016), Shyga! The Sunlight Mound (2021) and Night Gnomes (2022). Their relentless touring has taken them across sold-out stages in the UK, Europe and Australia, sharing bills with acts such as Royal Blood, Interpol and Nothing But Thieves. With support from outlets including DIY, The Line of Best Fit, Dork and Clash, alongside radio play from BBC Radio 1, BBC 6 Music and Radio X, the band’s explosive live shows and fearless creativity have cemented their place as modern psych-rock trailblazers.
