Palace are the London band whose hazy, dreamlike guitar music has carried them from a monthly night in an East London pub to sold-out shows at the Eventim Apollo.
Formed in London in 2012, Palace built their reputation on a warm, atmospheric guitar sound — reverb-soaked, quietly emotional and rooted in blues and Americana, drawing comparison to the likes of Fleet Foxes and Bon Iver. After the early EPs Lost in the Night (2014) and Chase the Light (2015), the band went on to release four studio albums: So Long Forever (2016), Life After (2019), Shoals (2022) and Ultrasound (2024), each one shaped around a particular feeling, place and time.
In 2025 they took a decisive step towards independence, reviving Palace Presents — which began in 2016 as a monthly night at East London's George Tavern — as their own label and creative home. Its first release was the Greyhound EP, later followed by the single "Kid". Along the way Palace have become a real live draw, playing Glastonbury and a sunset set at Coachella and headlining a sold-out UK and European tour that finished at London's Eventim Apollo.
