OVERSIZE, the UK-based alt-shoegaze quintet, are the latest addition to SharpTone Records’ impressive roster, joining the likes of Boston Manor, Loathe, and Holding Absence. Comprised of vocalist Sam McCauley, guitarists Tazz Edwards and Lewis Lennane-Emm, bassist George Lewis, and drummer Sam Shutler, the band brings a powerful blend of atmospheric soundscapes and raw emotion to the forefront of the alternative scene.
To celebrate their signing, OVERSIZE released their compelling single, “Fall Apart.” As Sam McCauley explains, the track delves into themes of grief and heartbreak, exploring the numbing disconnect that can come with yearning for love and connection while feeling isolated from the world. With their signature blend of soaring guitars and heartfelt lyricism, OVERSIZE are carving out a space for themselves as one of the most exciting voices in modern alt-shoegaze. Their addition to SharpTone marks the start of an exciting new chapter, one that promises to nurture their creativity and elevate their already dynamic artistry.
