Best known as the bassist and a founding member of acclaimed Australian band Parcels, Noah Hill has now stepped out under his own name. Formed in Byron Bay in 2014 before relocating to Berlin, Parcels built a devoted global following with their distinctive blend of disco, funk, soul and modern electronic pop. The band caught the ear of Daft Punk, who co-wrote and produced their 2017 single "Overnight", and went on to release their acclaimed self-titled debut album, Parcels (2018). Along the way they earned a reputation as one of the most compelling live acts around, with appearances at major festivals including Glastonbury, Coachella and Lollapalooza.
Now Hill turns the spotlight on his own songwriting with debut solo single "It's All in My Head", released via Because Music and accompanied by a video filmed in Sydney that he co-directed with longtime friend Cai Leplaw. It marks an exciting new chapter for one of the talents behind Parcels' much-loved sound.
