Melanie Baker is a self-described “silly little songwriter”. Born in the Lake District and now based in Newcastle, her reflective songs tackle issues of sexuality and her queer identity. Self-releasing her own music, she has amassed over a million streams on Spotify with singles including “365 Days”, “All My Plants Have Died”, “Waiting List” and “False Fantasies”.
