McFly is a beloved British pop-rock band formed in 2003, known for their catchy tunes, upbeat energy, and harmonised vocals. Initially rising to fame with their debut album Room on the 3rd Floor (2004), McFly became one of the UK’s most successful pop bands, with hits like “5 Colours in Her Hair” and “Obviously” dominating the charts. Their mix of pop-punk and power-pop made them a mainstay on the UK charts throughout the 2000s, with subsequent albums such as Motion in the Ocean (2006) and Above the Noise (2010) further cementing their place in pop history.
McFly’s live performances have become legendary, with their energetic shows and infectious stage presence drawing large crowds at venues like OVO Arena, Wembley and festivals including V Festival and T in the Park. Throughout their career, McFly has continued to evolve, experimenting with new sounds while maintaining their signature style. The band has also collaborated with other UK music icons, such as Busted, on the supergroup McBusted.
