Hailing from New Jersey, Guiliana has built a reputation as one of the most influential drummers of his generation, blending jazz, electronic, and rock influences with remarkable technical prowess. He is the founder of projects like Beat Music and the Mark Guiliana Jazz Quartet, each showcasing his dynamic range and visionary artistry. Albums such as Family First (2015) and Jersey (2017) highlight his ability to seamlessly fuse intricate rhythms with melodic storytelling.
In addition to his solo work, Guiliana has collaborated with a diverse array of artists, including Brad Mehldau in their duo Mehliana, St. Vincent, and Donny McCaslin.
