LEAP is a London-based alt-rock project led by vocalist and songwriter Jack Balfour Scott, formerly of indie outfit The Mispers. Formed in 2020, LEAP quickly carved out a bold, modern sound blending gritty rock energy, electronic flourishes and emotionally direct songwriting. With Scott’s distinctive, soulful vocals at the centre, the band’s music swings between swaggering riffs and introspective moments, offering a dynamic mix that feels both raw and cinematic. Early releases such as “Energies”, “Faithful Man” and “Where the Silence Goes” showcased their flair for big hooks and atmospheric production, helping the project gain rapid attention across the UK indie and alt-rock scene.
On stage, LEAP deliver high-intensity performances filled with passion, precision and a strong sense of connection. Their songs explore themes of resilience, personal struggle and self-renewal, wrapped in powerful melodies and bold instrumental textures.
