Laura Kuenssberg is one of Britain's best-known political journalists and broadcasters, recognised for her incisive interviews, political reporting and coverage of major events at Westminster.
She joined the BBC in the early 2000s and has held a number of senior roles during a career spanning more than two decades. She became the BBC's Political Editor in 2015, making history as the first woman to hold the position. In that role, she reported extensively on Brexit, multiple general elections, changes of government and some of the most significant political developments in recent British history.
Kuenssberg went on to become the presenter of BBC One's Sunday with Laura Kuenssberg, interviewing leading politicians and prominent figures from Britain and around the world. Her interviewing style and ability to secure high-profile guests have made the programme a significant part of the UK's Sunday political landscape.
