Lake Street Dive are a genre-defying five-piece whose vibrant fusion of soul, folk, jazz, funk and classic pop has made them one of the most beloved and unifying forces in modern music. Fronted by Rachael Price alongside Bridget Kearney, Mike Calabrese, Akie Bermiss and James Cornelison, the band have earned a reputation for crafting songs that are as musically adventurous as they are emotionally resonant. Their eclectic sound and inclusive spirit have turned every live performance into a communal celebration, built on connection, joy and impeccable musicianship.
Their album Good Together captures that ethos of “joyful rebellion” — an exploration of human connection in an age of isolation and self-optimisation. Produced by Grammy-winner Mike Elizondo, the record moves seamlessly through R&B, funk and Brazilian pop, pairing radiant melodies with thoughtful reflections on empathy, resilience and love. Tracks like “Dance with a Stranger”, “Walking Uphill” and “Twenty-Five” showcase the band’s gift for blending heartfelt storytelling with irresistible grooves. Across every release, Lake Street Dive continue to push the boundaries of pop’s possibilities, turning unity, authenticity and joy into an art form.
