Kenny Thomas is a legend in the British soul scene.
Thomas’s breakthrough came in 1991 with his rendition of “Outstanding” (originally by The Gap Band), which climbed to No. 12 on the UK Singles Chart. His debut album, Voices (1991), peaked at No. 3 in the UK and went on to sell over 300,000 copies. Following the release of his follow-up album Wait For Me (1993), Thomas earned two BRIT Award nominations — for Best British Male Vocalist and Best British Newcomer.
