Katie Gregson-MacLeod is a singer-songwriter from Inverness whose heartfelt, piano-led storytelling has captured hearts across the UK and beyond. She rose to prominence in 2022 when a clip of her tender ballad "complex" went viral, drawing millions of views and sparking widespread acclaim for its emotional honesty. The track later featured on her EP songs written for piano (2022), showcasing her raw, introspective songwriting and delicate vocal style. Influenced by the likes of Joni Mitchell and Phoebe Bridgers, Katie’s music blends vulnerability with strength, often exploring love, identity and self-discovery.
Katie has since played acclaimed sets at UK festivals including Latitude and TRNSMT, and has supported artists such as Gracie Abrams and JP Saxe on tour. Her follow-up EP big red (2023) marked a shift towards a fuller, more layered sound without losing the intimacy that defines her work. As she continues to grow her fanbase, Katie remains grounded and authentic — a passionate voice in a new wave of emotionally rich British songwriting.
