Jocelyn Brown is a renowned American singer from North Carolina, celebrated for her powerful voice and contributions to soul, R&B, and disco. Rising to fame in the 1980s, she is best known for hit singles like "Somebody Else’s Guy" and "Love’s Gonna Get You". Brown has also worked with top acts such as Salsoul Orchestra, Incognito, and Todd Terry. Her album One from the Heart (1984) remains iconic. Jocelyn has performed at major venues worldwide, including London’s Royal Albert Hall, and continues to influence the soul and dance music scenes with her timeless sound.
