IDER, the London-based duo of Megan Markwick and Lily Somerville, crafts hauntingly beautiful alt-pop with harmonies at its core. Their debut album, Emotional Education (2019), and follow-up shame (2021) explore themes of self-discovery and vulnerability, with tracks like “Mirror” and “You’ve Got Your Whole Life Ahead of You Baby” earning critical acclaim.
IDER has supported artists such as Sigrid and Tegan and Sara, and they’ve wowed festival crowds at Latitude and All Points East. Their live shows showcase their heartfelt lyrics and spellbinding chemistry, making them one of the UK’s most exciting contemporary acts.
