Australian singer-songwriter Henry Wagons is the driving force behind the outlaw alt-country rock band Wagons. With bandmates Mark “Tuckerbag” Dawson (drums, bass), Si “Philanthropist” Francis (drums, bass), Richard Blazé (guitar), John Guscott (guitar) and Matthew “Softmoods” Hassett (keys), Wagons have built a reputation for electrifying live shows that blend rock, country, and storytelling with wit and irreverence. Their dynamic performances and genre-crossing sound have made them a staple of the Australian alt-country scene.
Alongside his work with Wagons, Henry has developed a compelling solo career, releasing many albums including Songs from the Aftermath (2019). His solo material showcases his narrative songwriting, emotional depth, and musical versatility, confirming his place as a distinctive voice in contemporary country and rock. Across both band and solo projects, Henry Wagons continues to craft music that resonates with energy, honesty, and enduring appeal.
