Green Lung are a London-based heavy rock band who have become one of the leading forces in modern British metal. Emerging with their self-released debut EP Free the Witch (2018), the band blend doom-laden riffs, pastoral prog, psychedelic rock and the theatrical spirit of classic NWOBHM into a sound steeped in folklore and occult atmosphere.
Lyrically inspired by the myths, legends and ancient landscapes of Britain, Green Lung channel a distinctly wild and witchy identity across acclaimed albums including Woodland Rites (2019), Black Harvest (2021) and This Heathen Land (2023). Renowned for their powerful live shows, they have toured internationally with bands such as Clutch and Opeth while appearing at major festivals including Roadburn and Download. Their fusion of heavy riffs, gothic storytelling and classic British rock influence has firmly established them at the forefront of the UK metal scene.
