Grandmas House are a fierce punk trio from Bristol, delivering gritty, high-octane tracks with a distinctive blend of post-punk urgency and surf rock swagger. Formed by Yasmin Berndt (vocals/guitar), Poppy Dodgson (drums/vocals) and Zoë Zinsmeister (bass), the band are known for their punchy riffs, raw vocal energy and infectious chemistry. Their self-titled debut EP, released in October 2021, features standout tracks like "Golden" and "Girl", firmly establishing them as a powerful voice in the UK’s underground scene.
They’ve gone from strength to strength with recent singles "Screw It Up" and "Anything For You", offering sharp, emotionally-charged tunes that hit hard. Grandmas House have become a staple on the UK live circuit, performing at events like Manchester Punk Festival and sharing the stage with heavyweights such as IDLES. With their relentless energy and uncompromising sound, the band continue to carve their own path – bold, loud and unapologetically themselves.
