Gloryhammer are a symphonic power-metal band from Dundee, Scotland, formed in (2010) by Christopher Bowes of Alestorm. Built around soaring melodies, triumphant choruses and a richly detailed fantasy universe, their music brings heroic storytelling to life with theatrical flair. Their catalogue includes Tales from the Kingdom of Fife (2013), Space 1992: Rise of the Chaos Wizards (2015) and Return to the Kingdom of Fife (2023), each release expanding their tongue-in-cheek saga of wizards, warriors and cosmic battles.
On stage, Gloryhammer embrace full fantasy immersion — armour, props, characters and narrative all woven into their high-energy performances. Their touring history has taken them across Europe and beyond, including appearances at major metal festivals such as Wacken Open Air, as well as support slots for genre giants including HammerFall. Their mix of humour, grandeur and precision has earned them a devoted global fanbase who revel in their commitment to epic storytelling and symphonic spectacle.
