Fanna-Fi-Allah are a Canadian–American Qawwali ensemble dedicated to preserving and sharing the devotional music traditions of South Asia with authenticity, passion and reverence. Formed by musicians who have spent years studying within the lineage of renowned Pakistani Qawwali families, the group embody the spiritual intensity, hypnotic rhythms and soaring vocal interplay that define the genre. Their line-up brings together Tahir Faridi Qawwal on vocals and harmonium, Aminah Chishti Qawwal on tabla, Laali Qalandar, Salim Chishti and Ali Shan on vocals and clapping, with Jahangir Baba adding harmonium and vocals, Abrar Hussain on tabla, vocals and clapping, and Aziz Abbatiello contributing the whirling dance tradition. Together, they create performances that honour centuries-old musical practices while opening the doorway for audiences across the world to experience Qawwali’s devotional power.

On stage, Fanna-Fi-Allah offer an immersive journey into Sufi poetry and musical ecstasy.
