Employed To Serve have spent years turning graft into greatness. Formed by vocalist Justine Jones and guitarist/co-vocalist Sammy Urwin, the band evolved from feral, mathcore-inspired beginnings into one of British heavy metal's most vital forces, with 2021's Conquering marking a career high. They have played everything from Bloodstock and Glastonbury to Hellfest, Wacken and Roskilde, and supporting Gojira on a huge European arena tour reshaped their sense of just how far this music can travel. With their latest album, Fallen Star, Employed To Serve step confidently into arena-scale ambition, driven by Jones' commanding stage presence and Urwin's razor-sharp riffs.
Denmark's CABAL are a band who have spent a decade tearing down the borders between death metal, hardcore, black metal and industrial. Since their 2018 debut Mark of Rot, CABAL have built an international reputation through relentless touring and increasingly ambitious records, including Drag Me Down, Magno Interitus and their most recent album, Everything Rots, released through Nuclear Blast Records. Along the way they've picked up collaborators from across the metal world, including Matt Heafy of Trivium and Jamie Hails of Polaris, cementing their place at the genre's cutting edge.
Together, Employed To Serve and CABAL offer a night of pure, uncompromising heaviness from two of extreme music's most exciting bands.
