Elder Island are a Bristol-based trio crafting a rich blend of electronic, indie and neo-soul influences, known for their warm, atmospheric sound and groove-led songwriting. Formed by Katy Sargent, Alex Jeffery and Dave Havard, the band first gained attention with a series of early releases before establishing themselves with their debut album The Omnitone Collection (2019). Their sound continued to evolve on Swimming Static (2022), combining shimmering synths, organic instrumentation and Sargent’s distinctive, soulful vocals.
Renowned for their immersive live shows, Elder Island have built a strong following across the UK and Europe, performing at a range of venues and events while honing their dynamic live presence. They have toured extensively, bringing their laid-back yet danceable sound to audiences far and wide. Blending introspective songwriting with uplifting rhythms, Elder Island continue to carve out a unique space within the UK’s contemporary electronic music scene.
