Dick Valentine is the frontman of rock and roll hit makers Electric Six.
Founded in 1996 in Detroit, USA, Electric Six made themselves a household name with smash hits such as "Gay Bar" and "Danger! High Voltage". Dick Valentine is their primary vocalist and songwriter, and the band are celebrated for their absurdist humour in their lyrics and their satirical style.
Outside of Electric Six's prolific album output, Dick Valentine has also established himself a solo career, including the release of 2024's Do You Notice?. Dick Valentine has also formed The Dirty Shame, and dance group Evil Cowards.
Having played alongside band such as The White Stripes, Dick Valentine was a pivotal figure in the Detroit rock scene in the late 90s.
