Deluxe are the moustachioed six-piece who have become one of France's most exhilarating live bands, fusing funk, hip hop, soul, jazz and electro into pure, joyous celebration.
Since forming in Aix-en-Provence in 2007, Deluxe have grown from busking on the city's streets into one of France's most electrifying live acts. The six-piece — instantly recognisable by their trademark moustaches and boundless energy — blend funk, hip hop, soul, jazz, electro and pop into a sound it is impossible to stand still to. Fronted by the magnetic Liliboy, whose vocals switch effortlessly from soulful to razor-sharp, the band have built their reputation on musicianship, spontaneity and sheer showmanship.
Discovered by fellow southerners Chinese Man, Deluxe released their debut EP Polishing Peanuts in 2011 before a run of acclaimed albums including The Deluxe Family Show (2013), Stachelight (2016), Boys & Girl (2019) and Moustache Gracias (2022), drawing in guests such as -M-, IAM and Nneka along the way. On stage is where they truly come alive: expect outrageous costumes, groove-heavy jams and feel-good anthems that turn every gig into a party. Few bands can match Deluxe for pure live entertainment.
