Death In Vegas is the genre-defying electronic rock project led by British musician and producer Richard Fearless. Known for their hypnotic blend of electronica, psychedelia, and rock, the band emerged in the mid-90s with a distinct sound that seamlessly fused techno beats with live instrumentation and dark, cinematic atmospheres.
Their breakthrough album The Contino Sessions (1999) featured collaborations with Iggy Pop, Bobby Gillespie, and Dot Allison, cementing their reputation as sonic innovators. Tracks like "Aisha" and "Dirge" became defining moments of late-'90s electronic rock. Subsequent albums, including Scorpio Rising (2002) and Satan’s Circus (2004), further expanded their experimental approach, incorporating elements of krautrock and post-punk.
Renowned for their immersive live performances, Death In Vegas has played major festivals and shared stages with some of the biggest names in alternative music. Fearless continues to evolve the project, producing atmospheric and boundary-pushing sounds that blur the lines between electronic music and rock.
