Norwegian pop artist Dagny brings bright, hook-filled synth-pop shaped by huge collaborations and a billion-stream catalogue.
Dagny Norvoll Sandvik, known simply as Dagny, is a Norwegian singer and songwriter from Tromsø whose bold, melodic pop has reached listeners around the world. Blending synth-pop, dance-pop and indie energy, she broke through with songs including “Backbeat” and “Somebody”, the latter taken from her debut album Strangers / Lovers (2020).
Alongside her solo work, Dagny has co-written for artists including Katy Perry, Ashnikko and Julie Bergan, and collaborated with names such as The Wombats, Steve Aoki, Kygo, Astrid S, Seeb and Crystal Fighters. Her second album, Elle (2024), continued to sharpen her bright, emotionally direct sound, while her sold-out Oslo Spektrum headline show underlined her reputation as a powerful live performer.
