Cory Wong is a Grammy-nominated guitarist, composer and producer whose explosive live shows and razor-sharp funk grooves have made him one of modern music’s most exciting performers.
Blending the technical precision of jazz with the infectious energy of funk, pop and soul, the Minneapolis-born musician first rose to prominence through his work with Vulfpeck before launching a hugely successful solo career. Since then, Wong has released a prolific run of albums and collaborated with artists including Jon Batiste, The Jonas Brothers, Bruce Hornsby, Chromeo, Billy Strings and Victor Wooten.
Known for his electrifying stage presence, Cory Wong’s live performances with the Cory Wong Band and Fearless Flyers have become must-see events packed with musicianship, humour and feel-good energy. Beyond the stage, he also hosts the Wong Notes Podcast and created the self-produced variety series The Wongnotes, further cementing his place as one of contemporary music’s most inventive and versatile creative forces.
