Having first started out basking on the streets of Glasgow looking for shoppers change, they grew to become one of the most influential indie bands of the eighties and continue to show their creative strength with every new release.

With the upcoming release of their brand new album BMX Bandits Forever they have just announced an exciting upcoming headline date at Student Central (formally known as ULU) in London on Saturday 19th of August, 2017.

The band came to the fore with the release of their debut album C86 (BMX Bandits album) in 1989. Taking the title from the name of a cassette used to make lo fi recordings, they proudly displayed their indie roots from the start.

A constant creative force, they have continued to write and release new material. Further album titles include Star Wars, Life Goes On, Gettin’ Dirty, Theme Park, Down At The Hop, My Chain and Bee Stings. Their latest album was released in 2012 and titled In Space.
