Bianca Del Rio, the drag alter ego of Roy Haylock, is one of comedy's most fearless performers — fierce, funny and famously frank. She sealed her place in pop culture as the breakout star and winner of the sixth season of RuPaul's Drag Race, and has since built her act on snarky frankness, impeccable timing and a willingness to say exactly what everyone else is thinking. Dubbed the "Joan Rivers of the Drag World" by The New York Times, the self-professed "Clown in a Gown" has turned insult comedy into an art form.
A relentless live performer who has toured the world with her solo stand-up shows, Bianca has also starred in the feature films Hurricane Bianca (2016) and Hurricane Bianca 2: From Russia with Hate (2018), and released the comedy special Rolodex of Hate. She is the author of Blame It On Bianca Del Rio: The Expert on Nothing with an Opinion on Everything (2018) and made her West End debut as Hugo/Loco Chanelle in the hit musical Everybody's Talking About Jamie. Combining tightly written material with lightning-fast wit and fearless audience interaction, she's a comic who finds the funny in almost everything — usually at somebody else's expense.
