About Bernth

Bernth is an Austrian guitarist, composer and session musician whose playing reaches from heavy metal to cinematic soundtracks. A graduate with honours from the Vienna Music Institute, he cut his teeth touring Europe, the USA, Canada and Latin America with extreme metal band Belphegor, before joining chart-topping pop-rock group Seiler und Speer in 2015 and headlining Vienna's Donauinselfest in 2016 in front of more than 120,000 people. Along the way he has added guitar solos to multiple platinum-certified albums and earned two gold awards for his soundtrack work.

Since launching his YouTube channel in 2018, Bernth has built a devoted global following for his jaw-dropping technique, earning YouTube's Silver and Gold Creator Awards. He has guested on stage with metal giants Tool at Prague's sold-out O2 Arena and teamed up with David Hasselhoff on the viral metal single "Through the Night". His Escape the Internet tours have brought fellow guitar stars Charles Berthoud and Ola Englund together on sold-out stages worldwide, while his online courses have helped tens of thousands of players sharpen their skills.
