About @

@ (pronounced "At") are the American folk-pop duo of Victoria Rose and Stone Filipczak — a beekeeper and a self-taught computer programmer who become something altogether more adventurous whenever they make music together. They first crossed paths on the East Coast's DIY house-show circuit, then began writing long-distance during the pandemic, trading song ideas by text between Philadelphia and Baltimore. That unusual method shaped their signature approach: half Victoria's songs, half Stone's, with each finishing what the other started.

Their debut album, Mind Palace Music (2021), later reissued by Carpark Records, introduced the warm, homespun sound they cheerfully call hyperfolk and won praise from Pitchfork, Stereogum and The Fader. The 2024 EP Are You There God? It's Me, @ pushed their songwriting further still. Now signed to indie label 4AD, they've grown into a captivating live act, touring with Jessica Pratt and bringing their intimate, quietly spellbinding shows to UK stages. Expect close harmonies, inventive arrangements and two songwriters who clearly delight in each other's company.
