Yachtley Crew are a seven-piece Southern California band bringing the breezy charm of yacht rock back to the stage with plenty of style and a clear love for the songs that inspired them. Known as “The Titans of Soft Rock”, they have built a reputation for lively, feel-good shows packed with polished musicianship, big singalongs and a playful nod to the late 1970s and early 1980s sound. With Captain Ian now on lead vocals, the band’s slick harmonies and larger-than-life stage presence make their live set as fun as it is nostalgic.
After making their name on the US live circuit, Yachtley Crew signed with Jimmy Buffett’s Mailboat label before moving on to Earache Records. Their debut EP Seas the Day (2023) introduced their take on classics including “Lido Shuffle” and “How Long”, while Seas and Greetings followed in 2024. In 2025 they released Seas the Night, featuring “Pain Of Losing You”, an original song written for the band by Diane Warren. They have also featured in HBO’s Yacht Rock: A Dockumentary, underlining their place in the modern revival of the genre.
