THE ORIGINAL VOICE OF KASABIAN
For over two decades, Tom Meighan was the swagger, the snarl and the sheer front of one of Britain's greatest rock bands. As the original voice of Kasabian he delivered five consecutive UK number one albums and eleven platinum records, headlined the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury and topped the bill at Reading & Leeds. The band took 13 awards from 40 nominations — a BRIT for Best British Group, Q's Best Act in the World Today twice over, and Best Live Act at both the Q and NME Awards — and it was Tom out front for all of it. Radio X listeners voted him one of the greatest frontmen of all time, and anyone who ever stood in a field and watched him work a crowd knows exactly why.
TWENTY YEARS ON
In 2006, a record came out of Leicester that didn’t ask permission. Empire was loud, sure of itself and impossible to ignore — and the voice at the front of it was Tom’s.
Two decades on, he brings it home to Leicester.
One night. One city. The album that made its mark, played live in the place that made him.
This isn’t another tour date. There is no second show, no other city and no repeat.
One room. One performance. One unforgettable night.
Then it becomes history.
LIVE RECORDING AND PRESSED ON TO VINYL
The night itself is being recorded. Choose the Collector Edition ticket and you leave with more than a memory — the full live performance pressed to vinyl, a numbered edition of 2,006 copies, one for the year Empire was born. Your name on the door, your number on the sleeve. Only 2,006 exist, and they only exist once.
If you were there in 2006, this is the other bookend. If you weren't, this is your only chance to be.
Empire XX. One night. Then it's yours forever.
