The Steepwater Band

Gritty, soulful Chicago roots rock, live in Faversham

The Steepwater Band bring their gritty, soulful American rock and blues to The Old Brewery Store, Faversham, Kent, on Friday 15 January 2027.

Formed in Chicago in 1998, The Steepwater Band blend classic rock, blues and roots influences with a modern edge. Over the years they've built a reputation for electrifying live performances and a deep catalogue of dynamic, guitar-driven songs. Fronted by guitarist Jeff Massey, they put it simply: "It's rock 'n' roll music, and it's what we do."

They arrive in Kent with new music to play. Their ninth studio album, Down & Divine, is released on 6 November 2026. It was produced by Tony "Mac" McQuaid at The Music Mansion in Chicago's Bronzeville, and it's their first album recorded in their home city since 2011's Clava. It features the single "Pass It All Around".

If you love big riffs, deep grooves and honest, heartfelt songwriting, this is a night not to miss.
