About Spectres
Notoriously independent minded and dedicated to absolute self-control, Spectres fuse sharp post punk with dense distortion.
Thrilling critics everywhere, they have been gleefully championed by the likes of Tom Ravenscroft and BBC 6 Music and Huw Stephens on BBC Radio 1.
"Like Sonic Youth from the bowels of a haunted well" - Stool Pigeon
"If guitars are supposed to be dead it's probably because Spectres have killed them. Not for the fainthearted, but essential all the same." - Drowned in Sound
The band members include drummer Andy Came, guitarists Adrian Dutt and singer Joe Hatt who is joined in vocals by bassist Darren Frost.
They have announced exciting upcoming headline dates at the recently refurbished Nottingham pub The Angel Microbrewery, The Cellar Bar at Oxford, The Hairy Dog in Derby plus The Hope And Ruin at Brighton during April, 2017.

They released debut album Dying in 2015 to the sheer joy of just about everyone. This was followed a year later by follow up album Dead. Delightfully dark, the visceral record sees them explore the nastier side of the human condition and its inevitable end.
“Dead doesn't so much kill Spectres' songs with these remixes as reanimate them and turn them loose on their creators, and the world.” - The Quietus
