Whilst the line-up of Soft Machine may, the band’s spirit of musical adventure continues to make it unique.

After first forming in Canterbury in the late 1960’s, the band want on to release mammoth tracks like 'Hazard Profile', and 'Joy Of A Toy', whilst being widely considered as the first progressive rock band.

Moving from powerful progressive jazz fusion to atmospheric psychedelia to free improvised jazz-rock, the Soft Machine's ability to bring various sounds together has always pushed them into new musical forms of innovation.
