San Vito Ryder is a London-based alternative artist shaping nocturnal rock ’n’ roll through post-punk minimalism, gothic tension and what he describes as Speakeasy Punk — a world of sleepless rooms, artificial intimacy and emotional performance.
His music unfolds beneath flickering lights and unresolved feelings; restrained grooves carrying biting vocals through atmospheres that linger rather than release. Across his work, isolation and desire exist side by side, pulling characters through motel rooms, backstage corridors and late-night rituals where identity begins to fracture.
Raised between London and Cork, Ryder first emerged through London’s underground scene before developing an increasingly cinematic catalogue alongside Kristian Bell, whose production has shaped releases including Taste My Charm, Tapping Ten Trinkets, Cold Teeth and the forthcoming single Room Two Five.
Rather than treating punk as nostalgia, San Vito approaches it as emotional language — stripped back, theatrical and psychologically exposed. His songs do not search for catharsis. They linger inside tension, repetition and discomfort.
With a growing underground reputation and a series of volatile live performances across the UK, San Vito Ryder continues building music for rooms that don’t fully sleep.
