Bromley Blues Club presents: Kaspar & Lucy + Nothing in RamblingBromley Little Theatre | Sunday 9 May | Doors 6:30pm(Please note there will be an earlier than usual start time for this show)
Two of the UK's most exciting acoustic blues acts come together for a very special night of raw, primal blues at Bromley Little Theatre.
Nothing in Rambling — Sister Suzie and Andy Twyman — take you on a journey through the Mississippi Delta and Louisiana bayou, performing music by legends such as Memphis Minnie, Blind Boy Fuller and Elmore James. Their critically acclaimed debut album Live at Bush Hall earned airplay on Cerys Matthews' BBC Radio 2 Blues Show, and 2024 saw them play Red Rooster, Upton Blues Festival and Glastonbury. Expect playfulness, power, and the deep soul of early blues.
Kaspar & Lucy — Kaspar Berry Rapkin and Lucy Piper — bring the raw hypnotic energy of the juke joint to Bromley. Rooted in Mississippi Hill Country blues, theirs is a sound forged in Clarksdale, dedicated to keeping traditional blues alive with a fresh edge. Lucy has played with Ben Waters, Mississippi MacDonald and American blues artists in the Delta itself; Kaspar is a regular on the London blues circuit and at major UK blues festivals with his band The Swamp Dogs.
Together, they'll be raising hell, taking you to church, and delivering an unforgettable night of primal blues.
