Led by lead singer Jacoby Shaddix, Californian metal band Papa Roach formed with drummer and school friend Dave Buckner in 1993. Their alternative take on hard rock as heard on their debut album Old Friends from Young Years saw them win support slots for such greats as Incubus, Head Pe and Static-X.
Signing to DreamWorks Records in 1999, the band immediately entered the studio and began recording their best-selling album Infest. Featuring the singles "Last Resort", "Broken Home" plus "Between Angels and Insects", Papa Roach became a major force in the nu-metal movement sweeping the globe, smashing into the Top 10 in the US, UK and many countries around the world.
Infest would see Papa Roach earn a Grammy nomination for Best New Artist, reach x3 platinum sales and see the band make their indelible mark on the sound of rock. They followed this colossal success with the gold-selling sophomore album Lovehatetragedy (2002), the platinum-certified Getting Away with Murder (20) and a further seven major record releases including their latest title Ego Trip (2022).
The Rise Of The Roach tour sees Papa Roach return to the record that elevated them to the world stage, celebrating Infest on its 25th anniversary. Look forward to hearing the album in full, plus even more of your favourite nu-metal anthems.
Support comes from the Floridian metalcore group Wage War. They recently unleashed their fifth record Stigma which features the singles "Magnetic" and "Nail5".
In addition to playing at OVO Arena Wembley, tickets will soon be released for a further headline show at Motorpoint Arena, Nottingham with Gigantic.
“We are blown away by the response for the Rise Of The Roach tour. Wage War are amazing and we can’t wait to get back on tour. Nottingham is going to be lit on a Saturday night!” – Jacoby Shaddix
