The North East welcomes new May bank holiday festival Leazes Live to Newcastle this Spring and announces their very first headliner will be indie icons JAMES, topping a bill specially picked for the true music lover.
A huge day packed full of crucial artists; Leazes Live attendees can also looking forward to enjoying performances from post punk legends The Futureheads, local favourites The Pale White and crucial cutting edge act The K’s.

Rising from indie obscurity to becoming one of Manchester’s best loved bands; JAMES broke into the mainstream thanks to such colossal anthems as “Laid”, “Sit Down” and “She’s A Star” which have pioneered the sound of British guitar music and have played a defining role for 40 years.
Last year saw the release of All the Colours of You; the sixteenth studio album for the world-renowned band. Shooting straight into the Top 10, it was a triumphant return for Tim Booth and his band who look set to continue being a stunning experience for a long time to come.
