ALBUMS

CREEPER – ‘Sex, Death & the Infinite Void

Southampton born emo revivalists Creeper scared the life out of fans when they hinted that their sold-out show at Koko in 2018 might be their last. In fact, it was just the end of the past as they usher in a new era with the arrival of second album ‘Sex, Death & the Infinite Void’.

"The infinite void was literally where we were drifting for some time while making this album. I didn't know if Creeper was going to come back, I didn't know if we were over. I was floating through California with the shards of a broken relationship and a band that I'd just broken up on stage that had been my life's work.” – Will Gould

Creeper will be hitting the road during March next year, heading out on a huge tour to promote the new material with support coming from Holding Absence, Wargasm and Static Dress

Sex, Death & the Infinite Void’ is out today; available on CD, Purple Vinyl and a Bundle of both!

Creeper tickets are currently available.

THE PSYCHEDELIC FURS – ‘Made Of Rain

Thirty years is a long wait by anyone’s measure – fortunately the three decades that The Psychedelic Furs have taken out since their last LP have not gone to waste as their brand new album ‘Made Of Rain’ is truly superb.

Produced by Richard Fortus and mixed by Tim Palmer to achieve their fresh new sound; their long-awaited album makes forays into the realms of psyche, folk rock, hard rock and produce huge anthems.

I’m really making records for those people who come down and see us. Myself first, but I do think of myself performing them when we’re writing them and working on them, and I would hope that the people that come down and see our shows will enjoy them. And that’s about as far as it goes. We’d be foolish to be writing songs to try and get on pop radio, at this point. That’s not going to happen.” – Richard Butler

Made Of Rain’ is out now on Cooking Vinyl.

Grab your copy of Made Of Rain’ on CD, Cassette, Limited Edition Purple Double Vinyl or a bundle including CD + Logo T-shirt.

The Psychedelic Furs tickets are currently available.

ESSENTIAL BUYS

FONTAINES D.C. – ‘A Hero’s Death

Whilst the huge success of Fontaines D.C. debut ‘Dogrel’ may have taken many by surprise, everyone’s eyes are on the Irish post punks for their follow up LP ‘A Hero’s Death’ which is far from the tragic return the title suggests.

On the second helping, the boys from the better land have come back with a confident blend of wistful melancholy songs like ‘I Don’t Belong’ and ‘Oh Such A Spring’, thoughtful tracks including ‘Love Is The Main Thing’ and ‘You Said’ plus all out blazers such as ‘Televised Mind’, ‘A Lucid Dream’ and title track ‘A Hero’s Death’.

A Hero’s Death’ is out today on Limited Edition Stormy Blue Vinyl, Deluxe Double Heavyweight Vinyl, Vinyl, CD and a bundles of either Stormy Blue Vinyl + CD or Deluxe Double Heavyweight Vinyl + CD.
