THE JOY FORMIDABLE – ‘Tra B’or Gwybed / While The Flies

The Joy Formidable are celebrating the 10th anniversary of their seminal debut EP ‘A Balloon Called Moaning’ with the release of a very special double vinyl edition which includes a re-master of the original plus a newly recorded acoustic version sung in Welsh. Plus, they have launched a video of ‘While The Flies’ – now titled ‘Tra B’or Gwybed’.

There will only be x1000 copies of the EP ‘A Balloon Called Moaning’ EP re-release being made available which they showcase at Islington Assembly Hall in London on Sunday 24th of November.

The Joy Formidable tickets are currently available.

PALAYE ROYALE – ‘Hang On To Yourself

Just when you thought you knew what to expect from Palaye Royale, the Canadian rock trio go and mix it all up and head in a totally new direction; "Ever since our first EP, The End's Beginning we have been hinting and hiding words and symbols in everything we have created. Boom Boom Room Side A and Side B was a continuation of this existential treasure hunt. Now as we enter the new era, it all begins to unfold"

New single ‘Hang On To Yourself’ is the third in a triptych of new songs including ‘Fucking With My Head’ and ‘Nervous Breakdown’ which are all linked to the comic ‘Neutopian’ written and band’s drummer Emerson Barrett.

Palaye Royale tickets are currently available.

KREPT & KONAN – ‘G Love

Following on from the highly politicised song-and-film release ‘Ban Drill’, South London hip hop duo Krept and Konan now drop their new sweet single ‘G Love’. The new track follows ‘Morely’s Freestyle’ which was accompanied by a wicked video filmed outside Morley’s in Thornton Heath and both are expected to feature on their highly anticipated second studio album which they now unveil will be titled ‘Revenge Is Sweet’.

Whilst the pair continue to rise to the top, they constantly feel frustrated with the controversy and misunderstanding surrounding their music; “[We] really needed to do this as we know how important the situation is. People have a perception of drill music. [They] don’t get it and understand it

Krept & Konan tickets are currently available.

ALLIE X – ‘Rings A Bell

Canadian alt pop artist Allie X has grown from ‘One To Watch’ to bonafide sensation in a short space of time, only releasing her debut album ‘CollXtion II’ in 2017 and dropping follow up LP ‘Super Sunset’ just a year later. Now she’s back with enigmatic new single ‘Rings A Bell’.

Written in conjunction with Oscar Gorres and James Alan, her latest single sees a real leap in developing her sound and explores the inner realms of her own subconscious; “[It’s] the feeling of having been somewhere before... This song is more about falling into a rabbit hole, experiencing something surreal, in a dream, or in your subconscious perhaps"

Allie X will be playing support for MARINA and tickets are currently on sale with Gigantic.

Allie X tickets are currently available.

LEPROUS – ‘Distant Bells

Norwegian progressive metal band Leprous have just dropped their epic new single ‘Distant Bells’. The ambitious new song is the product of the combined efforts of singer Einar Solberg and bassist Simen Børven;

It was both challenging and very refreshing to work on Distant Bells, as the main instrumental idea didn't come from me. It opened up new doors of creativity within myself and it was very exciting to do the melody and lyrics for this track. It's a very different Leprous track, and it turned out to be one of my personal favourites. Simen has a different musical background than myself, and our contradictions are probably what made this song shine so bright.” – Einar Solberg

Distant Bells’ follows the release of their awesome singles ‘Below’ and ‘Alleviate’, all of which will feature on their upcoming album ‘Pitfalls’ which was recorded with producer David Castillo at Ghostward Studios and mixed by Adam Noble. They promote the new material with major gigs at ULU London and Manchester Academy 2.

Leprous tickets are currently available.
